Pianist Xiaofen He is an emerging artist recognized for her expressive sensitivity and refined musicality. She is currently completing her Master of Music degree at the Mannes School of Music, The New School in New York, where she continues to develop her artistic voice on an international stage. Xiaofen received her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Xinghai Conservatory of Music, where she studied under Professor Renaat Beheydt. Her musical training combines strong technical command with a nuanced and thoughtful approach to interpretation. As a performer, Xiaofen has appeared in both solo and chamber music settings. She has presented a solo recital at Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou and has been featured in the Chamber Music Teaching Practice Concert Series. Xiaofen is a prizewinner of several competitions, including Second Prize at the Chopin Memorial Award Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition in 2023 and Third Prize in the China Selection of the Liszt International Youth Piano Competition. She was also a finalist in the 6th Guangzhou Choral Festival "Summer of Nurture." In addition to her academic and performance activities, Xiaofen has participated in international festivals such as the Perugia Music Festival in Italy, further expanding her artistic perspective through international collaboration. With a growing presence as a performer, Xiaofen He continues to engage audiences with poetic interpretation and a deep commitment to musical expression.
